Mrs. Cieszynski’s Lessons are tailored to incorporate NCA’s Pillars of Virtue into the five tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self Control and Indomitable Spirit. The mission of this club is to inspire students to achieve greatness in their lives through self-belief, ability and physical fitness.

Students begin by practicing basic movements & patterns; kicking, blocking, striking and punching are all a part of this form of self defense. These fundamental skills increase physical coordination, flexibility, balance & mental dexterity.

Taekwondo helps to develop athletic abilities and self awareness, as well as improves capabilities in self defense. Taekwondo also emphasizes moral development. The self discipline that develops as a result of learning and practicing the techniques will carry over into other areas of life. School grades often improve as one learns to focus on objective and working towards a goal. The self discipline & self respect which is developed will also provide the skills and mindset necessary to resist peer pressure.

Motivation comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
